EDUCATION
Goodwill Greater Washington Career Services
GGW works closely with local employers to develop in-depth programs that prepare people for jobs in specific industries such as banking, building maintenance and environmental services, retail and construction. In addition to formal classroom training, GGW often prepares clients for permanent jobs through a combination of supported, temporary or transitional employment at a Goodwill facility or in the community.
Northern Virginia Community College
I attended Northern Virginia Community College right after High School in the year 2006. For the few semesters I attended, I took Introduction to Business, Liberal Art, English, and Public Speech classes. I currently maintain a 4.0 grade point average and my future plans are to finish schooling there to receive an A.A.S in Marketing.
Yorktown High School
I graduated from Yorktown High in the year 2006 with a grade point average of 3.4 GPA. While attending there, some of my elective classes were all business related, classes such as Business Communication, E-Commerce, Visual Basic, and Computer Science. My extracurricular activity consists of Football and the Traveling Choir.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Arlington County Government 2003 – 2009
I was hired as a student aid for Thomas Jefferson Community Center T.E.A.M Office. I participated in projects such as “The Teen Newspaper”, “Skate Night”, and “Moonbounce” however; most of my duties were supervision of students in the center. I was promoted to Recreation Assistant Class Three a few years later, after my hire. My duties consist of administrative matters.
Academic of Excellence Center (NVCC) 2007-2008
I was hired as a student aid for Northern Virginia Community College to be Front desk assistant. I worked with a shift team, every week we would schedule a meeting to recap on situation that happen throughout the week and correct them accordingly. My job duties were to schedule tutor appointments between the three directors working in the office, I direct student walk-ins and phone calls to their proper party, file archive data and convert them into the computers database.
Northern Virginia AIDs/HIV Ministry 2005-2007
I was a volunteered for this non-profit organization as a youth speaker. Our mission was to educate the community about HIV/AIDS, to combat the fear, prejudice, and complacency that surround the disease, and to provide direct services to meet the needs of those who are living with HIV/AIDS. We visited high schools, malls, and bars in the northern Virginia area communicating with young adults.
Income Tax Assistant 2006-2007
I volunteered to help low-income families prepare their tax documents and receive has much money as possible. I’m preparing to volunteer for 2011 tax season.
